There is something warming and comforting about rice pudding, it’s old fashioned, simple and yummy – I love it cooked in the slow cooker.
Slow cooked rice pudding recipe
100g short grain pudding rice
1L skimmed milk
pinch of nutmeg
- Butter the sides of the bowl of the slow cooker
- Add the rice, sugar, milk, nutmeg and the remaining butter.
- Stir well.
- Cook on a high setting for 3-4 hours, stirring halfway through cooking.
Serve with a spoonful of jam and enjoy!
