Top Classic Horror Films To Watch This Halloween – Giveaway

Snuggling on the sofa with my cats, eating homemade popcorn, and watching a scary film is a great way to relax this Halloween. I love classic horror films! I love the tension generated by suspense, mystery, terror, shock, and gore.

I have partnered up with Warner Bros to host a super spooky giveaway for a chance for one lucky person to win this Halloween horror classics bundle.

These are the classic halloween horror films up for grabs:

The Exorcist (1973)

The Exorcist has been terrifying people for decades and has been called ‘the scariest movie ever made’. When a teenage girl is possessed by a mysterious entity, her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her daughter. This film certainly sends a chill down my spine!

Friday The 13th (1980)

Friday The 13th has been one of the longest running horror films; I think that the first movie is the best. Camp Crystal Lake has been cursed by murders and bad luck. The young and nubile counsellors all begin to die extremely bloody deaths at the hands of an unseen killer during a rainstorm which isolates the camp.

The Shining (1980)

‘Here’s Johnny!’ Who can forget Jack Nicholson as Jack Torrance. Jack becomes winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel in Colorado, hoping to cure his writer’s block. He settles in along with his wife and son. Jack discovers the hotel’s dark secrets and begins to transform into a homicidal maniac who terrorizes his family.

A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)

A young Johnny Depp stars in this Wes Craven’s classic slasher film. Several teenagers fall prey to a terrifying Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) in their dreams. As more teenagers die violent deaths their parents’ dark secrets are revealed.

Poltergeist (1982)

Menacing spirits haunt a Californian family’s home. The haunting begins with simple things like chairs moving and the pet bird dying, but it all builds up to some horrifying discoveries and scares.
